What You’ll Learn
Per SB25-003 “Semiautomatic Firearms & Rapid-Fire Devices “ This Is a Colorado Department of Wildlife, Class to help you to Proceed to the Puchase of your New SSF (specified semiautomatic firearm)
Prior to taking this class you need to have completed the following steps: 1. Apply online: Submit your initial request through the Colorado Parks and Wildlife portal 2. Sheriff review: Bring a government-issued photo ID and pass a name-based criminal background check with your local county sheriff’s office. 3. Pay fees: Expect a CPW application fee of $52.00, plus local sheriff processing fees which vary by county
This is the 4-hour Class, to take this class you MUST Have a Valid Hunter Safety card from any state.

Firearm Deaths, Prevention & ERPOs • Firearm-related deaths due to suicides, negligent discharges and acts of violence • Mental health crisis warning signs • Prevention steps and community impacts • Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO)
